Austin Cannon is an award-nominated producer and songwriter based in Nashville, TN. His sound can be defined as modern analog: where classic synthesizers meet relevant production. He specializes in Pop, Electronic, and Pop Country and is signed to CURB|Word Music Publishing.
Austin grew up in Oklahoma City, OK where he became involved with music professionally at the age of 16. He began his career as a keyboard player and music director for several artists, bands, and churches. In 2015, he completed his bachelors degree in music production at the Academy of Contemporary Music and subsequently moved to Los Angeles, CA. There, he interned at Six01 Studios located in Burbank as well as worked as a backline technician for CenterStaging. In 2017, Austin moved to Nashville, TN to start a studio of his own to write, produce, and develop upcoming artists.
In 2020, Austin was signed to CURB|Word and has since worked on projects with a variety of signed and independent artists as well as had songs featured on popular television shows such as NBC’s “Songland”. His work has also been used by international brands such as Adobe and in 2021 he was nominated for a Dove Award for his work on the GMA Inspirational Record of the Year contender. Austin currently resides in East Nashville with his wife, Amanda, and his two daughters, Ivy and Margot.
